Lloyd Blankfein is senior chairman of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. and served as the firm’s chairman and chief executive officer from 2006 through 2018. After working as an attorney, he joined Goldman Sachs in 1982, eventually becoming the vice chairman of Goldman Sachs in 2002 before assuming the role of president and chief operating officer in 2003. He is the author of "Streetwise: Getting to and Through Goldman Sachs."
