Congressman Jason Crow of Colorado's 6th Congressional District joins the Council for a private roundtable chaired by Council President and CEO Leslie Vinjamuri. Congressman Crow will discuss the War Powers Resolution, the use of force under US law, and the military's evolving global posture.
About the Speakers
US Representative for Colorado's 6th Congressional District
Jason Crow has served as the Representative for Colorado’s 6th congressional district since 2019. In the House of Representatives, Crow serves on the Armed Services Committee and Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and previously served on the Foreign Affairs Committee. Crow is a former Army Ranger and completed three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
President & Chief Executive Officer, Chicago Council on Global Affairs
Dr. Leslie Vinjamuri joined the Council in 2025 as the president and chief executive officer, after previously serving as director of the US and the Americas program at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, known as Chatham House, in London. She is Professor of Practice in International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS University of London.
