Daniel Fenske

Dan Fenske is a partner in the litigation and dispute resolution group at Mayer Brown LLP. His practice focuses on antitrust litigation, in particular the defense of cartel, monopolization, and class action cases. Fenske represents clients before courts and agencies, including the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division and the Federal Trade Commission. He also has substantial experience with class action and regulatory matters outside the antitrust context, as well as general complex commercial litigation. Fenske has represented clients in appeals on a variety of matters before courts throughout the country.
Fenske is also active in the Chicago community. He is a former chair of the Antitrust Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association and is a former member of the board of First Defense Legal Aid. Fenske maintains an active pro bono practice. Among multiple other matters, he represented two men wrongfully accused of murder and an asylum seeker in a challenge to the Department of Homeland Security’s former "Remain in Mexico" program.
Fenske earned his bachelor's degree from Marquette University and his juris doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Northwestern University Law Review.
