Ethan Kessler joined the Chicago Council on Global Affairs in 2021 as a research associate in the Lester Crown Center on US Foreign Policy, where he provides research and writing support to Senior Fellow Elizabeth Shackelford. Before joining the Council, Kessler researched nuclear nonproliferation policy and US policy toward Korea as a fellow with the John Quincy Adams Society and an intern at the Cato Institute and the Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control in Washington, DC. He earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2020.
