Intern to the CEO
This intern assists the chief of staff with projects across the organization, including programming, communications, and global leadership.
This internship will primarily provide research support to the president and CEO of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. The internship begins September 15 and concludes December 15. This internship is hybrid; intern(s) will be expected to work 20 hours per week with a minimum of 50 percent of those hours in-office, preferably on Mondays and Thursdays. The intern will report directly to the chief of staff of the president. One internship position is available with a $2,500 stipend.
This intern performs a variety of tasks, including:
- Work with the CEO and chief of staff on research initiatives, including writing and editing drafts
- Assist the Chief of Staff with projects across the organization, including programming, communications, and global leadership
- Other projects/tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Undergraduate senior or graduate student
- Excellent judgement
- Strong sense of professional engagement
- Strong knowledge of international affairs
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Consistent, conscientious attention to detail
- Ability to multitask with quick turnaround times
- Excellent research and writing skills
