Robert F. Godec has served as US Ambassador to Thailand since August 2022. Previously, he served as Ambassador to Kenya and Tunisia, and before that, he was acting Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs and Senior Coordinator for Afghanistan in the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration.
