Mike Quigley has represented Illinois' 5th District in Congress since 2009. He serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Committee on Appropriations, where he holds the position of ranking member on the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Subcommittee. Throughout his tenure, Quigley has focused on environmental protection, small business support, LGBTQ rights, healthcare access, and national security. Quigley also founded the bipartisan Congressional Transparency Caucus and introduced legislation to strengthen oversight of the federal government. Prior to entering Congress, he served as a Cook County commissioner from 1998 to 2009.
