Lina Tori Jan

Lina Tori Jan is a social entrepreneur, public speaker, and advocate for equality and human rights, with a focus on women, girls, and refugees. She currently leads Georgetown University’s Onward for Afghan Women initiative, which supports and amplifies the work of Afghan women leaders by providing opportunities for continued advocacy. Her work is shaped by her own experience growing up as a woman in Afghanistan. Jan has collaborated with companies, NGOs, and governments worldwide to promote justice and equality. As a UNICEF Education Champion, she has spoken to audiences across North America, Europe, and Oceania.
