About This Event
On Wednesday, September 9, Council President and CEO Leslie Vinjamuri will host a private drinks reception for invited members and close friends of the Council. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and hear more about Leslie's vision and ongoing initiatives shaping the organization. The reception will be held in the Council conference center and light appetizers will be served.

About the Speakers
Vice Chair and Distinguished Fellow, Global Economy, Chicago Council on Global Affairs
Michael H. Moskow is the vice chair and distinguished fellow, global economy at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. From 1994-2007, he served as president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. In that capacity, he was a member of the Federal Open Market Committee, the Federal Reserve System's most important monetary policymaking body.

Dr. Leslie Vinjamuri joined the Council in 2025 as the president and chief executive officer, after previously serving as director of the US and the Americas program at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, known as Chatham House, in London. She is Professor of Practice in International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS University of London.
