On Tuesday, June 16, H.E. Vinay Kwatra, Ambassador of India to the United States, joins the Council for a private breakfast roundtable. The roundtable will be chaired by Council President and CEO Leslie Vinjamuri.
This in-person discussion will focus on US-India relations and will take place at the Chicago Council Conference Center at 130 East Randolph Street. Doors will open at 8.30 a.m. CDT. A light breakfast will be served.
About the Speakers
Ambassador of India to the United States
Vinay Kwatra assumed the role as Ambassador of India to the United States in August 2024. Over his 36 year career, he has served in senior roles both in Delhi and around the world. Most recently, Ambassador Kwatra served as India's Foreign Secretary from May 2022 to July 2024.
President & Chief Executive Officer, Chicago Council on Global Affairs
Dr. Leslie Vinjamuri joined the Council in 2025 as the president and chief executive officer, after previously serving as director of the US and the Americas program at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, known as Chatham House, in London. She is Professor of Practice in International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS University of London.
