A former teacher and advocate, he’s earned numerous international awards and now delivers presentations on resilience, diplomacy, and inclusive growth.

Tanya and Michael Polsky are passionate philanthropists, recognized for their lifelong commitment to volunteerism, entrepreneurship, and leadership in humanitarian efforts. Tanya is the president of the Polsky Foundation, founder of Our Home Ukraine, and co-founder of the BRCA Research & Cure Alliance (CureBRCA), among other organizations. Michael is the founder and CEO of Invenergy, the world’s largest privately held energy solutions company. He also established the WRI Polsky Center for the Global Energy Transition and the Polsky Energy Transition Leadership Academy at the University of Chicago.
