About This Event

As global geopolitics and economics become increasingly intertwined with national and local economic strategies, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs is revitalizing its Global Economy Roundtable Series. The roundtable will be chaired by Brent Neiman, the Edward Eagle Brown Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and former deputy undersecretary for international finance at the US Treasury. For our second event, we will host Kim Ruhl, one of the three members of President Trump's Council of Economic Advisors. Ruhl will discuss the administration's policies and approach to international trade and cross-border investment.

This high-level, invitation-only series will convene local economists, business executives, and industry leaders for candid conversations with leading national and international figures in economic policy and global financial affairs.

To learn more about the Global Economy Roundtable Series and how you can engage, please reach out to Claire Shirey.
