Today, much of our digital information is not under our control. But what if it could be? Data is now considered the most important currency in commerce. In this digital age, global businesses have harnessed, processed, packaged, and sold our data – and have made trillions. Many wonder what the future could hold if consumers could trade, leverage, and shop their data. 

Would a future of personal data as currency be a positive force for consumers across the globe? 

In our next YP Cocktails & Conversation social, we invite members of the Council Young Professionals Network to participate in a live debate on the future of personal data as currency. Attendees will work together with fellow YPs to create a persuasive argument for their assigned position.
