Vikas Didwania

Vikas K. Didwania serves as complex litigation counsel at the Illinois Attorney General's Office. He helps lead Illinois's efforts to protect Illinoisians from federal overreach. Previously, Vikas served as a Senior Policy Adviser for Criminal Justice at the White House, overseeing the development, implementation, and communication of crime and criminal justice policy on behalf of the president. As a former federal prosecutor, Vikas investigated and prosecuted a wide range of federal criminal cases concerning national security and terrorism, espionage, public corruption, complex fraud, and violent crime. He also worked in private practice at a Chicago law firm and for a federal appellate judge.
