Vanessa Flores Andersen

As Ferrara’s sustainability manager, Vanessa Flores Andersen plays a central role in shaping the company’s sustainability vision and transforming it into action. She leads cross-functional initiatives that move the organization toward a more responsible future—while overseeing a multi-million-dollar capital budget for resource-efficiency upgrades across manufacturing sites and an operational budget for critical technology services.

Her recent achievements reflect both creativity and impact: she brought Ferrara’s first environmental nonprofit partner into the company’s annual volunteer day; launched Ferrara’s inaugural Earth Day celebration—now a global event engaging more than 5,000 participants; and secured cross-functional alignment on a science-based emissions-reduction target for 2033.

Flores Andersen’s leadership extends beyond sustainability. As cochair of the Innovation and Technology (InTech) Team DEI council, she helped develop the team’s first DEI goals, laying the groundwork for systemic change, measurable progress, and sustained accountability across the department.
