Richard Rodriguez
President & CEO, Acero Schools
Before his role as President & CEO of Acero Schools, Richard Rodriguez worked for Res Publica Group and served as commissioner of the Department of Energy and Environment and deputy chief operations officer for the City of Chicago. He previously served as president of the Chicago Transit Authority and commissioner of the City of Chicago’s Department of Aviation. He was accepted as an American Marshall Memorial Fellow, was a Leadership Greater Chicago member, and was recognized by Crain’s “40 under 40.” He sits on the advisory board of DeVry University and the boards of Casa Central and Daughters of Charity Ministries of Chicago. He earned his BA in sociology and communications from Loyola University Chicago and his JD from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
