Maryiam Saifuddin

Maryiam Saifuddin is a strategy-oriented leader in healthcare analytics, passionate about using data to improve member experience and retention. At Centene, she leads a cross-functional team of analysts, data scientists, and engineers, translating complex insights into strategies that reduce churn and elevate care for more than five million Affordable Care Act members. Her work combines analytical rigor with creative storytelling, from predictive modeling and dashboard design to the creation of a “Fantasy Football”-inspired retention playbook.
Her career spans healthcare and the nonprofit sector, where she has built innovative programs such as the Food Prescription and Food Scholarship at the Houston Food Bank to address the complex systemic issue of food insecurity. She also works on the board of directors for Code Your Dreams, a nonprofit expanding access to technology education, and was an Open Cities Fellow with the Sunlight Foundation, where she focused on transparency in how cities adopt new technologies. These experiences reflect her commitment to advancing equity by connecting data, policy, and lived experience across industries.
