Lisa Pattis

Lisa Pattis is president of Next Chapter Holdings, where she manages investments for the Pattis family and the Pattis Family Foundation, investing globally in a diversified range of assets. Previously, she was general counsel of Wintrust Financial Corporation and spent 17 years as a partner at Sidley Austin, LLP, specializing in corporate governance, securities law, and strategic counseling. She's also worked as a community development specialist in Peru and a microenterprise development specialist for the US Agency for International Development. She serves as a member of the executive committee of the board of Women Employed, was named in the “40 Under 40” list by Crain’s Chicago Business, and was honored as a Leadership Greater Chicago fellow. She earned a BA in public policy from Princeton University, an MA in Latin American Studies from Stanford University, and a JD from the Northwestern University School of Law.
