Liam Krehbiel
Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Topography
William Krehbiel is the founder and CEO of Topography Hospitality, LLC, and co-managing partner of Ballyfin Demesne, a luxury hotel in Ireland. He previously founded and led A Better Chicago, a venture philanthropy fund supporting high-impact nonprofits serving low-income communities.
Earlier in his career, Krehbiel was a consultant at Bain & Company, worked at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation supporting scalable youth development organizations, and held roles at William Blair & Company and ACCION.
He serves on the boards of the Big Shoulders Fund, the Chicago Public Library Foundation, and the Noble Network of Charter Schools. Krehbiel holds a BA in history from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
