Joshua (J.P.) Fairbank is a co-founder of Nymirum and has sat at the intersection of entrepreneurship and investments for two decades, and is an adjunct assistant professor of entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Fairbank is the cofounder of three companies working on medical innovations, including Sigvion Capital, a life sciences venture capital fund. He also serves as the president and chairman of Nymirum, which uses RNA technology in the search for cures to genetic-related diseases. He earned a BA in political science and economics from Connecticut College and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, where he focused on private equity and international finance.
