Joyce Coffee

Joyce Coffee is the founder and president of Climate Resilience Consulting, a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) that helps clients develop practical strategies to strengthen markets and communities through climate change adaptation. In her former role at the public relations firm Edelman, Coffee provided strategic sustainability counsel to Midwest companies. Her earlier experience also includes directing the Chicago Climate Action Plan and managing environmental codes and water and air resources in the City of Chicago Department of Environment.

Coffee has also served as an urban environmental consultant for the World Bank and USAID’s US-Asia Environmental Partnership. She was a founding board member of the Alliance for Water Efficiency and represented the Great Lakes region at the Brookings International Young Leaders Climate Change Summit.

She received the Henry Luce Fund Scholarship to study at the University of Hanoi in Vietnam and holds a dual BS in Biology and Environmental Studies from Tufts University, as well as a Master’s in City Planning (MCP) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
