John DeBlasio
Chairman, DT Global
John P. DeBlasio is chairman of DT Global and DT Institute, founder of the Global Peace and Development (GPD) Charitable Trust, and managing director of Bootstrap Capital. He also founded Sallyport Global Holdings to support reconstruction efforts in Iraq, later expanding its operations across the Middle East and Africa.
A veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, DeBlasio served as a Major in the US Army Reserve and received both the Bronze Star Medal and the Joint Service Commendation Medal. His career also includes leadership roles in the private sector.
He is a fellow of the American Assembly’s Next Generation Project and was appointed to the US Commerce Department’s US-Iraq Business Dialogue. DeBlasio holds a BS from the US Military Academy at West Point, an MIBS from the University of South Carolina, and an MMS from the School of Advanced Military Studies at Fort Leavenworth.
