Flavia Lorenzon
Social Policy Specialist, UNICEF
Flavia Lorenzon is a social policy specialist currently working for UNICEF, where she supports countries and territories in strengthening social protection systems and building equitable, people-centered emergency preparedness and response. With over a decade of experience across Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, she has worked with UNICEF, World Food Programme (WFP), and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on policies that advance social justice, reduce vulnerability, and improve the resilience of marginalized communities.
Lorenzon holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan and a master's in political economy from the London School of Economics. She is passionate about social equity, participatory policy processes, and using data and dialogue to drive systems change. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries, and practicing pilates.
