Edward Weaver

Ed Weaver is a senior manager at Grant Thornton’s international tax group, based in their Chicago office. He has over 13 years of experience advising multinational clients on international and domestic tax issues. Before joining Grant Thornton, Weaver worked at Deloitte Tax LLP and Northern Trust Corporation. He's a frequent speaker on various tax topics and an adjunct professor at John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He serves as an associate board member at Ladder Up, a nonprofit organization that provides free tax return preparation for low-income individuals.

Weaver received his JD and LLM in taxation at Loyola University Chicago and his BS in accounting at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
