Chad Doobay

Chad Doobay is a partner in the government and public finance practice group of the law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where he advises governmental entities and nonprofit organizations on financing projects that benefit the public good. Doobay works with hospitals, schools, universities, museums, cultural institutions, and other nonprofit organizations to help them grow and advance their respective missions. Doobay is also a devoted advocate of refugees and immigrants, providing pro bono counsel to asylum seekers and others in need of immigration relief. He maintains an active roster of pro bono clients and has served as a member of the Leadership Council for the National Immigrant Justice Center since 2008. Doobay is also an affiliate assistant professor with the Loyola University Chicago Department of Medical Education. He has been named an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2014 through 2016. Doobay received his law degree from the University of Michigan, a master of public affairs from the Princeton University Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and a BA in global studies and political science from the University of Iowa.
