Abizer Zanzi

Abizer Zanzi is an assistant United States attorney in the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Indiana. As a federal prosecutor, he has led investigations and criminal prosecutions involving public corruption, human trafficking, terrorism, cybercrime, health care fraud, and child exploitation. Zanzi serves on the district’s public corruption task force and as the human trafficking coordinator. Prior to joining the US Attorney’s Office, Zanzi was a partner at Franczek Radelet P.C., where he litigated complex matters concerning Chicago's public schools, higher education, and public and private sector labor and employment law. He also worked as a litigation associate at Latham & Watkins LLP, and clerked for the Honorable Philip P. Simon in the Northern District of Indiana. Before becoming a lawyer, Zanzi spent substantial time studying and working abroad in China, India, and Japan.
Zanzi received his BA in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania and his JD from Duke University. He coaches little league baseball and has served as an executive board member of the South Asian Bar Association. Zanzi lives in Chicago with his wife and son.
