Mateo Loza
Public Programming Officer
Mateo Loza joined the Council in 2026 and is a public programming officer. Before joining full-time, he interned at the Council on the digital programming team and also interned at the lobbying firm Mehlman Consulting in Washington, D.C.
Loza holds a BA in political science from Loyola University Chicago. He also worked on political campaigns and conducted research through Loyola’s Deutsch Fellowship.
