Jessica Brzeski
Public Programming and Engagement Coordinator

Born and raised in Chicago, Jessica Brzeski has been interconnected with the international scene of the city through various academic and professional sources, including being a Council intern in 2020. She returned to the Council in 2025 as the public programming and engagement coordinator. Previously, Brzeski participated in the Pathways Student Internship Program at the US Department of State, where she later became a foreign service officer working at the intersection of democracy and human rights issues within multilateral foras, particularly the United Nations. In addition to the federal government, she has experience working with foreign embassies, multilateral organizations, and non-profit organizations. Brzeski obtained her BA in global studies and French language from Loyola University Chicago, where she studied abroad in both Sydney, Australia, and Paris, France. Subsequently, she received her MA in international affairs at George Washington University, where she specialized in US Foreign Policy and Europe/Eurasia.
