About This Event

Please join us for a young professionals reception after the Council’s public event, "The Burden of History: How Presidents Confront the Nation's Past." Ruti Teitel and Leslie Vinjamuri will be in conversation as they explore how a nation can reckon with difficult chapters in its history, including displacement, discrimination, and violence, and the role leaders play in guiding reconciliation and accountability.

Following the discussion, we invite you to join us for a reception in our offices. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet fellow Young Professionals members, network with peers, and continue the conversation on America’s legacy and the challenges of confronting historical harms.

Please RSVP below so that we may ensure your name is on file with our security desk. Space is limited.
