Sarah Cahalan is senior editor for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Prior to joining the Council, she worked as a writer and editor at magazines around the country, including most recently at Travel + Leisure. She also spent three years on the COVID-19 data team of the New York Times, with whom she shares the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for public service. She holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Northwestern University.
