    If you think it's appropriate, I would add the link that you provided recently in this forum to Hiren's BootCD.

    Also, it might be on the fringe of this topic, but the link that Leon provided recently for Prey might also be appropriate.

    Anyone is free to add to the thread. Hiren's is a must have in my book.

    And while this one isn't free, if you work with Windows machines, you KNOW you're gonna need this one eventually......

    Belarc Advisor is a nice inventory tool. Tells you everything installed on your Windows machine.
