    I mean, hindsight? Was it too hard what they did? Hell no. Right place and right time.

    You had 10 different search engines (alta vista, yahoo, askjive or some shit and a slew of others. They all sucked. These snots come in and do an algorithm which wasn't too hard to create (some schools teach programming by having you design a search engine).

    But hey, as most things in life, right place, right time.

    HotBot was my engine of choice and it was pretty good IF you knew how to phrase proper search phrases.
