If he is isn’t running the country who is. I mean REALLY who is. I want names.
Besides the problems the current situation or crisis faced by the country due to the above, how do we both get out of it as well as restoring our national leadership to normalcy?
You and I as common folk will never know. Soros, Xi, Putin, Kamala, his wife, Hunter, his staff or some other person or group. Hell, it could be his granddaughter he plays Mario Kart with.
We aren't getting out of this shithole. We are stuck with Kamala until 2024, because she will be sitting in the Oval Office soon. Unless she nominates Hillary as her VP, in which case Kamala will be dead before her ass can warm that seat. ;-)
We are stuck because the Constitution has no provision for reversing election results. Our Founding Fathers ass-u-med that there were enough checks-and-balances to keep the system from being corrupted. They could not have conceived of the total indoctrination of a populace to participate in such an endeavor.
Frankly, to restore "normalcy", we would have to remove and bar every Congressman and Senator, the President, VP and every bureaucrat above local office manager from ever holding a Federal job again. THEN, lay off 50% of the Executive Branch and remove 80% of the regulations in effect. And that would be the starting point.
To all, the OP is about Biden and our current situation and the national issues arising out of his mental illness. Presidents of the past are just that, the past. Yes, the past. Grow up and get over it. Don't function lower than the man that is the topic and the present.
Joe Biden overtly exhibits gross clinical signs of significant cognitive impairment. It is impossible for a person to be of normal IQ and cognitive function to not see it. The only two questions are how much is he impaired and two what is the cause.
Anyone that is normal as I define above and saw Biden and argued to me that he is not that person would be the perfect person to which I could ask are you going to believe his hardcore supporters or extremist Trump haters or your lying eyes?
In comparison to Biden, (and Biden is THE issue here), but to contrast or further explain his cognitive impairment, Trump wasn't cognitive impaired. He does suffer from numerous serious personality disorders. (Which greatly handicaps him and severely limits his ability to the extent he could never be a good president as his obnoxious traits makes too many people dislike, not respect, or trust him.) I only raise Trump not to make him the subject but as the different types of mental health.
Neither men are going to improve their mental health issues.
Thanks for the courtesy of a reply. I must admit, though, your response sounds like anybody who does not agree is also cognitively challenged.
I, of course don't think that.
Perhaps there is an issue of semantics in our dialogue and perhaps there is difference between us on our understanding of what exactly is meant by cognitive function and what are the obvious or always present symptoms of someone that is suffering from Mild Cognitive Impairment. The same for observable onset of dementia or alzheimer's disease.
About 15-20 percent of people over 65 will be afflicted with Mild Cognitive Impairment. MCI can be stable and very mild or it can slowly get progressively worse in others and progress to dementia or alzheimer's. From the first MCI signs there are no predictors as to the long-term prognosis.
Regarding Biden just observe him speaking and moving between 2008 and 2016, as VP, and look at him now compared to 2008. As a matter of fact just look at the difference in him between 2016 and now. One cannot reasonably dispute the grossly obvious changes between then and now in his function that dramatically far exceeds that which would be attributed to simply growing older.
Just for the record, my opinion that we are discussing has absolutely nothing political or biased in it opinion regardless of whether I am right or wrong.
Well, one does begin to wonder why he hasn't had a press conference yet. Oh ya, he's been too busy for that .... ok, got it. Let's see how long that excuse floats.
I think the next few months will be interesting. He's pretty good with a teleprompter, no question. But, he can't hide from one-on-one with reporters forever.
During the presidential campaign when he was kept out of sight for whatever reason he went over 80 days without taking a single journalistic question.
Regarding the press conference issue since being elected he has gone the longest period of time without a press conference of any past president.
Then there was difficulty with the stairs on Air Force One today. Please note that months ago I appraised him and pointed out among other things that he had good posture but had a weak unsteady walk and if he didn't already he should some strength work.
Then as mentioned there was today. (Notice that after the last military office salutes him from the side of the ramp that rapidly and immediately the officer then moves from the side and visibly with specificity stations himself at the bottom of the ramp and pointedly lines himself up in direct line behind the president as he begins his climbing up the ramp. (I do not know if that is a standard procedure for whoever is the president at all times now and in the past. But is grossly noticeable.)
Arc, I have NO interest in getting to various 'speculations' of what's going on with our President.
I'm willing to wait. I just don't think it's going to be good.
I'm thinking the Democratic 'Party' is going to have a LOT of explaining to do. And I think the 'media' is going to go along with it, by not reporting the 'problem'.
So, I think we're going to be in quite a mess, in a few months.
I hope I'm wrong, but I can't see why I would be, so far. We'll see, eh?
jc my response is to the general topic, and of the thread and people at large is about Biden as is now with latest sign of trouble, his fall. I'm speaking of the issues you raise in your posts and those by shiny. I'm not trying to target you or to zero in on you or your post specifically, (although it is excellent.)
If a man is walking down the street with a significant limp, it is not speculation to say that man has a limp. Biden displays clinical or physical signs of long-term, overtly significant multiple symptoms and behavior of a CNS issue. Strong overtly clear ones. Obvious physical signs and behavior that are impossible to ignore or downplay.
Without a doubt, he has a central nervous dysfunction. Be it a strong case of mild cognitive behavior or dementia, or Alzheimer's or Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, or any other such affliction or injury to his central nervous system.
The President cannot speak, read, or clearly process mentally in a normal manner, even allowing for the decline to aging. He is FAR beyond that.
Since he is a democrat, his "keepers" are the DNC and it members. They and much of the media are doing everything to actually shield or cover for him and to avoid the issue(s) I mention here and in previous posts.
Nothing I say about Biden in this thread has any political bias or base in it. I am speaking about him first as a man and secondarily as a man whose occupation happens to be President of the United States. The latter simply makes the the multiple subjects a national one, not just a personal one.
Ya, I noticed he did not hug a group of flags. He did not yell to throw anybody in jail. He did not make up childish names for his opponents He did not kick anybody out. Ya, impaired. He also failed to call himself a genius or one of the smartest people in the world.
