Over the weekend, during a Proud Boys demonstration, there were clashes with Antifa. In the middle of that, a journalist named Andy Ngo, whose politics do not agree with Antifa's, was assaulted by Antifa members, beaten and was "milkshaked."
The bad news is, because of the beatings, the more serious injuries included a brain hemorrhage. The "milkshakes" also contained/were quick-drying cement, which is a very caustic substance. this stuff reacts very well with human skin, just not in a positive way. Wet cement contains calcium hydroxide which has a pH level of 13.

In all seriousness CAN this be a legitimate lawsuit?

When it comes to Antifa one of the biggest disgraces is where are the police? In the incident in Portland, Antifa's appearance was scheduled and known in advance. That is common for their appearances. Given their very long well-known history, why did the police boycott instead of having a presence? In Charlottesville, Virginia where violent and deadly riots ensued with people dying the police were all around in force but inexplicably did little to intervene. Whatever happened to common sense, duty and responsibility?
Zucker and separately CNN can say pretty much whatever they want. (Especially the news network. Freedom of the press and freedom of speech are different.) Zucker just can't by deed or word directly incite Antifa to commit violence or crime.
But...in civil matters, anyone can sue just about anyone. Whether or not the suit would be allowed to go forward or be winnable are other questions.
By the way, has anyone checked to see if Antifa is on the Southern Poverty Law Center's list of hate groups? (We are now taking bets on whether or not the answer is yes or no.)
Lastly, for now, where is the political left and political left-leaning mainstream media crying out against the Antifa storm trooper mobs?

All good questions and I have nothing. SPLC does NOT list Antifa as a hate group (surprise). MSM has been silent.

What scares me to my core is these antifa soy-drinking beta males are (they think) "upping their game." They don't realize that on the other side of the line are hundreds, if not thousands of battle-hardened veterans who are also well armed. So far Antifa has been safe in Leftist enclaves like Portland, Berkley, etc. I've gotten wind that they might protest something out here in Tennessee.
It is my fear that one of the groups is going to be prepared to round up, hunt and eliminate a couple hundred of these pajama-clad betas. I can easily imagine fire zones, improvised mortars, sniper positions and all the rest. The only real question is, after the shooting stops, will the bodies be left to cook in the sun, or will they "disappear"?
I have no direct or indirect knowledge of such an operation, but if I can conceive of it, I'm sure someone else has as well.
