That's the best advice in my opinion. I eat whole grain bread in moderation, and keep rich desserts for occasional treats. I use butter instead of margarine, but don't slather it on everything. I just don't have a craving for things like gravy, whipped cream, etc., but I have a weakness for mango ice cream, which I have once or twice a year.
